Overview

Vantage Apparel is a US supplier of custom-decorated corporate apparel, in business since 1977, with polos, woven and button-down shirts, fleece and quarter-zips, outerwear and vests, headwear, blankets and safety apparel, in standard and big and tall sizing. It serves promotional distributors and corporate programs across healthcare, finance, education, technology and golf.

Corporate apparel lives or dies on a clean, correctly placed logo. FastEditor places a customer's logo inside the real decoration area for the selected Vantage garment, vectorizes raster uploads automatically when the chosen decoration technique requires vector output, and validates placement, colour and line weight against the product and method before producing a production-ready file and a branded proof.

How the integration works

Vantage decorates across a wide method set, so where and how a logo can sit varies by garment.

  • Print areas. Left chest, sleeve, back and headwear-front positions are held per garment, so a design stays inside what the product allows.
  • Decoration methods. Embroidery, appliqué, screen print, heat transfer and laser etching each carry their own colour and detail limits, and artwork is checked accordingly.
  • Product data and variants. Colours and sizes, including big and tall, flow through as structured variants, so a logo previews on the exact garment being ordered.

Artwork requirements

Vantage garments are usually embroidered or appliqued on structured corporate wear, so artwork is prepared for stitch and placement.

  • Vector artwork. Vector logos where possible; FastEditor vectorizes raster uploads when the selected decoration technique requires vector output, so stitch paths and separations stay clean.
  • Placement and size. Left chest, sleeve and back positions each carry their own size and detail limits for the chosen garment.
  • Colour count. Embroidery and screen print are held to a defined colour count, with brand colour matching confirmed on the proof.
  • Fine detail. Small text and fine lines are kept above the embroidery minimum so a company name holds as stitches.
  • Proof preview. The logo is previewed on the ordered garment colour before the order is confirmed.

How to start selling

  1. Start from the connected catalogue. Vantage garments in the FastEditor Product Hub carry their print areas, decoration methods and specifications, so product configuration is already done. To start in Studio Tool, create an account and choose a plan; the Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial. For Logo Editor, activate a FastEditor license and complete the webshop integration setup.
  2. Choose how you sell. Put products on your webshop with the Logo Editor so customers personalise them, or keep them in the Studio Tool for your sales and account teams.
  3. The design happens in FastEditor. A logo drops onto the garment inside the real decoration area, is checked against the colour and line-weight rules, and is previewed in place before anyone commits.
  4. Generate the proof and production file. In Studio Tool, use Download to generate the files for the selected product and decoration technique. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The proof and production file follow the selected supplier configuration.

Frequently asked questions

What Vantage products can I offer through FastEditor?

Vantage polos, woven shirts, fleece, outerwear, headwear, blankets and safety apparel are connected through the FastEditor Product Hub with their decoration areas and methods attached, so a customer's logo is validated against the exact garment before a proof is produced.

Which Vantage decoration methods does FastEditor support?

The methods mapped for Vantage include embroidery, appliqué, screen printing, heat transfer and laser etching. Each garment carries the methods available for it, with the colour and detail limits that method imposes.

Do Vantage orders produce a print-ready file automatically?

Yes. FastEditor generates a proof and a production file using the selected product and decoration technique's configured specifications. Raster logos are vectorized automatically when vector output is required; otherwise vectorization may be recommended and is optional. In Studio Tool, generate the files with Download. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The production format depends on the configuration and can be JPG, PNG, PDF or SVG. Embroidery DST output is currently in testing and is not yet available.

How is decoration handled on Vantage corporate apparel?

Vantage garments are usually embroidered or appliqued, so FastEditor validates the logo for stitchable line weight and placement and previews it on the ordered garment colour, so the proof reflects how it will sit before production.
