Frequently Asked Questions

For which printing techniques will vectorization be used?

Vectorization is automatically applied for all printing and engraving methods that require clean vector files, including:
Bulb printing, Debossing, Digital printing, Digital transfer, Doming, Embossing, Embroidery, Engraving, Flower printing, Hotstamp, Laser engraving, Pad printing, Plant printing, Screen printing, Screen transfer, Sublimation, and UV printing.

What types of files can be vectorized?

FastEditor supports JPG, PNG, HEIC, PDF, and even screenshots or photos of logos. The system extracts shapes, cleans edges, and rebuilds paths for production.

Does vectorization change the customer’s design?

Only when necessary. FastEditor preserves the original logo as much as possible, while improving edges, removing noise, optimizing contrast, and preparing the file for print accuracy.

Can I download the vectorized file?

Yes. In the Studio Tool and Logo Improvements tools, you can directly download the vectorized file (SVG, PDF, or EPS — depending on your workflow settings). Customer-facing downloads can also be enabled if needed.

Is vectorization included for all products?

Yes, but it only activates when the decoration technique requires vector artwork. For full-color products, you can manually enable vectorization to enhance quality and clarity.

How accurate is the vectorization compared to manual DTP work?

FastEditor achieves 99%+ accuracy on standard logos. Complex illustrations benefit from automated optimization and can be manually fine-tuned afterward if desired.

Does it support brand colors?

Yes. If a logo contains known brand colors, FastEditor will detect and match them automatically. PMS color matching can be enabled for suppliers who require it.

Can customers see the improved vectorized version in the editor?

Yes. Customers always see the best possible version of their logo in real-time, including optimized vectorization, improved colors, and sharper edges.
