Overview

SOL's is a French apparel brand and part of the Solo Invest group, and one of the most widely stocked blank clothing ranges in the European promotional and print market. Its Imperial and Regent T-shirts and its polos are staples for decorators, backed by broad colour choices. Eighteen SOL's product groups are connected on the FastEditor Product Hub.

Across the SOL's range, a customer's logo is vectorized automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique and validated against the print area, colour count and line weight for each garment. The logo is previewed in position and the platform outputs a production-ready print file with a branded proof, so branded SOL's blanks move from your webshop into production without a manual prepress step. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.

How the integration works

SOL's is connected through the FastEditor Product Hub for the Europe region, with eighteen product groups across its T-shirts, polos and related blanks.

  • A customer uploads a logo onto a SOL's garment and it is vectorized automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.
  • The artwork is validated against the product's print area, colour count, line weight and resolution.
  • The logo is previewed in place and a production-ready print file plus a branded proof are generated.

All eighteen product groups run this workflow inside your webshop for the Europe region.

Artwork requirements

SOL's ring-spun cotton blanks are made for decoration, so artwork is prepared to the print area and method for each garment.

  • Decoration methods. Tees such as Imperial and Regent take screen print, direct-to-garment and transfer; a vectorized logo reproduces cleanly.
  • Placement and size. Polos are commonly embroidered at the left chest.
  • Colour count. Colour count is checked against the method, which matters given the wide SOL's colour range.
  • Line thickness. FastEditor provides an indication to help the user assess fine detail against the selected product and decoration technique’s requirements. Thin lines are not automatically corrected. Follow the supplier’s requirement for that configuration rather than a single minimum for every product.

How to start selling

  1. Start from the connected catalogue. Every SOL's product in the FastEditor Product Hub already carries its print areas, decoration methods and specifications. Product configuration is already done. To start in Studio Tool, create an account and choose a plan; the Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial. For Logo Editor, activate a FastEditor license and complete the webshop integration setup.
  2. Choose how you sell. Put products on your webshop with the Logo Editor so customers personalise them, or keep them in the Studio Tool for your sales and account teams.
  3. The design happens in FastEditor. A logo drops onto the product inside the real decoration area, is checked against the colour and line-weight rules, and is previewed in place before anyone commits.
  4. Generate the proof and production file. In Studio Tool, use Download to generate the files for the selected product and decoration technique. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The proof and production file follow the selected supplier configuration.
