Overview

Bella+Canvas is a Los Angeles blank apparel brand known for retail-fit basics that decorators reach for when they want a softer hand and a closer cut than traditional promo tees. Its garments are built on Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, and the brand dyes and cuts most of them in the United States. The unisex 3001 tee is its flagship, sitting alongside tanks, fleece and hoodies across 66 product groups.

Soft ring-spun jersey holds fine detail well but punishes sloppy artwork, and screen print, DTG and transfer each need clean, correctly sized files. FastEditor handles that upfront: a logo uploaded on the product page is vectorized automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique, validated against the garment's print area and decoration method, previewed in place, and turned into a production-ready file with a branded proof, with no correction loop. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.

How the integration works

Bella+Canvas items are cut for a retail fit, so print placement and sizing matter more than on a boxy blank.

  • Print areas: Front, back and pocket print areas are held per style, so the layout reflects the true cut of a fitted tee, tank or hoodie.
  • Decoration methods: Screen print, DTG and heat transfer suit the soft jersey and fleece, and artwork is checked for the method chosen.
  • Product data and variants: The wide Bella+Canvas colour and size range flows through as structured variants, including the 3001 and its related styles.

These 66 product groups are available through the FastEditor Product Hub for resellers across Europe.

Artwork requirements

Bella+Canvas jersey and fleece take fine detail, but soft fabric and a fitted cut set some limits.

  • Bleed and margins. Allow bleed and a safe margin inside the print area so nothing runs into a seam on the closer retail fit.
  • Colour count. For screen printing, keep to a defined spot-colour count and separable solids.
  • Ink coverage. Very large solid ink blocks can feel heavy on soft ring-spun jersey, so break up or lighten dense coverage where possible.
  • Resolution. Supply vector or high-resolution artwork so it vectorizes cleanly rather than being flagged.
  • Bleed and margins. On hoodies and fleece, keep artwork clear of the pocket, zip and drawcords.

How to start selling

  1. Start from the connected catalogue. Every Bella+Canvas product in the FastEditor Product Hub already carries its print areas, decoration methods and specifications. Product configuration is already done. To start in Studio Tool, create an account and choose a plan; the Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial. For Logo Editor, activate a FastEditor license and complete the webshop integration setup.
  2. Choose how you sell. Put products on your webshop with the Logo Editor so customers personalise them, or keep them in the Studio Tool for your sales and account teams.
  3. The design happens in FastEditor. A logo drops onto the product inside the real decoration area, is checked against the colour and line-weight rules, and is previewed in place before anyone commits.
  4. Generate the proof and production file. In Studio Tool, use Download to generate the files for the selected product and decoration technique. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The proof and production file follow the selected supplier configuration.

Frequently asked questions

What Bella+Canvas products are available through FastEditor?

Bella+Canvas is connected through the FastEditor Product Hub as 66 product groups, covering tees, tanks, fleece and hoodies, led by the unisex 3001 tee. Each group carries its own print areas and colour and size variants, so a customer's logo is validated against the exact garment and decoration method.

Which Bella+Canvas decoration methods does FastEditor support?

The methods mapped for Bella+Canvas include screen printing, embroidery, transfer printing, digital print. Each product carries the methods available for it, with the colour and line-weight limits that method imposes.

Do Bella+Canvas orders produce a print-ready file automatically?

Yes. FastEditor generates a proof and a production file using the selected product and decoration technique’s configured supplier specifications. Raster logos are vectorized automatically when vector output is required; otherwise vectorization may be recommended and is optional. In Studio Tool, generate the files with Download. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The production format depends on the configuration and can be JPG, PNG, PDF or SVG. Embroidery DST output is currently in testing and is not yet available.

How does FastEditor account for the retail fit of Bella+Canvas garments?

Bella+Canvas is cut closer than a standard promo blank, so print area and placement differ by style. FastEditor holds the print zone per garment and previews the logo in place on the selected item, so the proof shows how it sits on that specific fitted cut before anything goes to production.
