Overview

Cotton Fare is a cotton bag brand for the promotional market, focused on tote and gym bags rather than apparel. Its range is built around plain cotton carriers that resellers decorate for retail, events and giveaways, and covers 4 product groups.

Flat woven cotton bags print differently from garments, because the fabric is unstructured and can shift, and prints usually sit within a defined panel clear of handles and seams. FastEditor vectorizes raster logos automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique, validates it against the bag's print area and decoration method, previews it in place, and outputs a production-ready file with a branded proof. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.

How the integration works

Cotton Fare's totes and gym bags share a simple flat construction, with one main printable panel per bag.

  • Print areas: The print panel is held per bag, positioned clear of handles, drawcords and seams.
  • Decoration methods: Screen print and transfer suit flat cotton, so artwork is checked for spot-colour separation and registration.
  • Product data and variants: Bag colours and sizes flow through as structured variants across the 4 product groups.

These 4 product groups are available through the FastEditor Product Hub for resellers across Europe and North America.

Artwork requirements

Flat cotton bags are forgiving on coverage but need artwork kept within the panel.

  • Bleed and margins. Keep the design inside a safe margin so nothing runs onto handles, drawcords or side seams.
  • Colour count. For screen printing, keep to a defined spot-colour count and separable solids, since registration is harder on unstructured fabric that shifts.
  • Ink coverage. Large solid coverage is possible, but very dense ink can crack on soft cotton, so consider lighter fills.
  • Vector artwork. Supply vector or high-resolution artwork so it vectorizes cleanly rather than being flagged.

How to start selling

  1. Start from the connected catalogue. Every Cotton Fare product in the FastEditor Product Hub already carries its print areas, decoration methods and specifications. Product configuration is already done. To start in Studio Tool, create an account and choose a plan; the Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial. For Logo Editor, activate a FastEditor license and complete the webshop integration setup.
  2. Choose how you sell. Put products on your webshop with the Logo Editor so customers personalise them, or keep them in the Studio Tool for your sales and account teams.
  3. The design happens in FastEditor. A logo drops onto the product inside the real decoration area, is checked against the colour and line-weight rules, and is previewed in place before anyone commits.
  4. Generate the proof and production file. In Studio Tool, use Download to generate the files for the selected product and decoration technique. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The proof and production file follow the selected supplier configuration.

Frequently asked questions

What Cotton Fare products are available through FastEditor?

Cotton Fare is connected through the FastEditor Product Hub as 4 product groups of cotton tote and gym bags. Each group carries its print panel and colour and size variants, so a customer's logo is validated against the exact bag and decoration method before a proof is produced.

Which Cotton Fare decoration methods does FastEditor support?

The methods mapped for Cotton Fare include screen printing, transfer printing, embroidery, pad printing. Each product carries the methods available for it, with the colour and line-weight limits that method imposes.

Do Cotton Fare orders produce a print-ready file automatically?

Yes. FastEditor generates a proof and a production file using the selected product and decoration technique’s configured supplier specifications. Raster logos are vectorized automatically when vector output is required; otherwise vectorization may be recommended and is optional. In Studio Tool, generate the files with Download. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The production format depends on the configuration and can be JPG, PNG, PDF or SVG. Embroidery DST output is currently in testing and is not yet available.

How does FastEditor handle printing on Cotton Fare bags?

Cotton totes and gym bags carry a single flat panel and no rigid backing, so placement and registration matter more than on a boxed product. FastEditor holds the print panel per bag, previews the logo in place clear of handles and seams, and produces a branded proof, so the reseller can confirm it before production.
