Overview

WAGUS GmbH is a German B2B supplier based in Rheinstetten, specialising in cork and wood wellness gear, from cork massage balls, fascia rollers and yoga blocks to cork mats, wooden massage tools and natural-latex resistance bands, much of it made in Germany or Europe. Its 18 product groups sit in the sustainable wellness and fitness niche of the promotional market.

Connected through the FastEditor Product Hub, the WAGUS range lets resellers turn a customer's logo into decoration-ready artwork online. FastEditor vectorizes the upload when the selected decoration technique requires vector output, validates it against each item's decoration area, colour count and line weight, previews it in place, and returns a branded proof, so cork and wood items clear artwork approval without a prepress correction loop.

How the integration works

The WAGUS catalogue is connected to FastEditor through the Product Hub feed, so every item carries its own decoration spec into the editor.

  • All 18 product groups load with their decoration area and method mapped, from a laser mark on a cork massage ball or yoga block to a print on a resistance band.
  • A customer's logo is vectorized automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique and validated against that spec on the spot, so unsuitable multi-colour or low-detail artwork is flagged before checkout. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.
  • The output is a production-ready file and a branded proof, ready for decoration with no manual prepress.

For resellers across Europe, WAGUS' cork and wood wellness items can be personalised and approved online with no back-and-forth over artwork.

Artwork requirements

Most WAGUS items are cork or wood, decorated by laser engraving, so artwork is treated as a single-colour mark burned into a natural, textured surface, with printed methods used on items such as resistance bands.

  • Vector artwork. Cork and wood items are laser-engraved, so a logo is prepared as a single-colour vector rather than full colour.
  • Line thickness. FastEditor provides an indication to help the user assess fine detail against the selected product and decoration technique’s requirements. Thin lines are not automatically corrected. Follow the supplier’s requirement for that configuration rather than a single minimum for every product.
  • Colour and detail. Multi-colour and photographic logos are flagged, since engraving renders one burnt tone rather than colour.
  • Colour count. Resistance bands and printed items are checked against their print area and colour count for the chosen method.
  • Proof preview. The decoration area is previewed on each item so the logo sits within the usable surface.

How to start selling

  1. Start from the connected catalogue. Every WAGUS GmbH product in the FastEditor Product Hub already carries its print areas, decoration methods and specifications. Product configuration is already done. To start in Studio Tool, create an account and choose a plan; the Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial. For Logo Editor, activate a FastEditor license and complete the webshop integration setup.
  2. Choose how you sell. Put products on your webshop with the Logo Editor so customers personalise them, or keep them in the Studio Tool for your sales and account teams.
  3. The design happens in FastEditor. A logo drops onto the product inside the real decoration area, is checked against the colour and line-weight rules, and is previewed in place before anyone commits.
  4. Generate the proof and production file. In Studio Tool, use Download to generate the files for the selected product and decoration technique. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The proof and production file follow the selected supplier configuration.

Frequently asked questions

How is a logo prepared for WAGUS cork and wood items?

The customer uploads a logo in the editor. FastEditor vectorizes it where the selected decoration technique requires vector output, validates it against the chosen item's decoration area and, for laser engraving, treats it as a single-colour mark, then previews it in place. Once it passes, the system produces a production-ready file and a branded proof for decoration, with no separate prepress step.

Which WAGUS GmbH decoration methods does FastEditor support?

The methods mapped for WAGUS GmbH include laser engraving, pad printing, doming, digital print. Each product carries the methods available for it, with the colour and line-weight limits that method imposes.

Do WAGUS GmbH orders produce a print-ready file automatically?

Yes. FastEditor generates a proof and a production file using the selected product and decoration technique’s configured supplier specifications. Raster logos are vectorized automatically when vector output is required; otherwise vectorization may be recommended and is optional. In Studio Tool, generate the files with Download. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The production format depends on the configuration and can be JPG, PNG, PDF or SVG. Embroidery DST output is currently in testing and is not yet available.
