Overview

Promoplants is a promotional gifts supplier specialising in living plants and botanical gifts, from kokedama and air plants to potted plants and dried flowers. Its range here covers 95 product groups of plant-based promotional items positioned as sustainable, eco-minded gifts.

With plant gifts, the branding sits on the pot, sleeve, card or wrap rather than the product itself. FastEditor lets a customer upload a logo, vectorizes it automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique, and validates it against the printed element before output, so an eco gift order reaches production without a manual prepress step. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.

How the integration works

Promoplants is connected through the FastEditor Product Hub, so its botanical gift catalogue reaches your storefront ready for personalisation.

  • A customer uploads a logo onto a Promoplants item and FastEditor vectorizes it automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique for clean print output. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.
  • The artwork is validated against the printed element's method and area, checking colour count, line weight and resolution.
  • FastEditor previews the branding in place and generates a branded proof with a production-ready file.

The Promoplants range is available to resellers across Europe through the FastEditor Product Hub.

Artwork requirements

Promoplants branding is applied to pots, sleeves, cards and wraps rather than the plant, so artwork is checked against the specific printed surface. FastEditor validates each upload before output.

  • Vector artwork. Raster logos are vectorized when the selected decoration technique requires vector output, for a clean edge on paper, card and pot surfaces.
  • Colour count. Colour counts are validated against the print method for the chosen element.
  • Fine detail. Fine lines and small text are flagged where they fall below the print method's limit.
  • Placement and size. Placement is confirmed inside the print area of the pot, sleeve or card.
  • Resolution. Resolution is checked so logos stay sharp at the printed size.

How to start selling

  1. Start from the connected catalogue. Every Promoplants product in the FastEditor Product Hub already carries its print areas, decoration methods and specifications. Product configuration is already done. To start in Studio Tool, create an account and choose a plan; the Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial. For Logo Editor, activate a FastEditor license and complete the webshop integration setup.
  2. Choose how you sell. Put products on your webshop with the Logo Editor so customers personalise them, or keep them in the Studio Tool for your sales and account teams.
  3. The design happens in FastEditor. A logo drops onto the product inside the real decoration area, is checked against the colour and line-weight rules, and is previewed in place before anyone commits.
  4. Generate the proof and production file. In Studio Tool, use Download to generate the files for the selected product and decoration technique. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The proof and production file follow the selected supplier configuration.

Frequently asked questions

How are Promoplants gifts branded through FastEditor?

Branding is applied to the printed element, such as a pot, sleeve or gift card, rather than the plant. A customer uploads a logo through the FastEditor Product Hub, previews it in place, and receives a branded proof. FastEditor vectorizes raster artwork when the selected decoration technique requires vector output, and validates it against the printed surface first.

Which Promoplants decoration methods does FastEditor support?

The methods mapped for Promoplants include doming, digital label print, laser engraving, pad printing. Each product carries the methods available for it, with the colour and line-weight limits that method imposes.

Do Promoplants orders produce a print-ready file automatically?

Yes. FastEditor generates a proof and a production file using the selected product and decoration technique’s configured supplier specifications. Raster logos are vectorized automatically when vector output is required; otherwise vectorization may be recommended and is optional. In Studio Tool, generate the files with Download. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The production format depends on the configuration and can be JPG, PNG, PDF or SVG. Embroidery DST output is currently in testing and is not yet available.

Can we personalise eco gifts like kokedama and dried flowers at scale?

Yes. The Promoplants range connected through the FastEditor Product Hub covers 95 product groups, from kokedama and air plants to dried flowers. Each uploaded logo is vectorized automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique and validated against the printed element before output, so bulk gift orders go to production in spec. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.
