Overview

Texam is a Netherlands-based apparel decorator working across screen print, embroidery and DTG. Screen-print logo artwork and full-color textile images need different preparation, and an embroidery job introduces a separate digitizing requirement.

FastEditor lets your team prepare the Texam job on a supported configuration, review the garment variant and branding location in a proof, and confirm the output before production.

How the integration works

Select a supported Texam configuration and check its decoration method and artwork requirements. Use the enabled Studio Tool or Logo Editor workflow to prepare and review the design. Confirm the required output and delivery route with your decorator before production. Embroidery artwork and machine stitch files are separate outputs; check stitch-file availability for the selected workflow.

Artwork requirements

Texam works across screen print, embroidery and DTG, so artwork is prepared for the garment, position and method of the actual job.

  • Vector artwork. Vector logos where possible; FastEditor vectorizes raster uploads when the selected decoration technique requires vector output, so separations and stitch paths stay clean.
  • Colour count. Screen print is held to a defined spot-colour count, while DTG carries full colour.
  • Fine detail. Small text and fine lines are kept above the embroidery minimum so detail holds as stitches.
  • Placement and size. Artwork is sized to the garment's print area and position for the chosen variant.
  • Proof preview. The garment variant and branding location are shown in a proof before the order is confirmed.

How to start selling

  1. Choose a supported Texam product and confirm its decoration options.
  2. Use Studio Tool for an internal proof, or connect the Logo Editor to your storefront.
  3. Map the Texam product and variant to the correct FastEditor configuration.
  4. Test an upload, preview, approval and production output on a real job.
  5. Confirm how files and orders reach your merchant or supplier workflow before launch.

Software access and production-file charges depend on your plan. View pricing or discuss your Texam setup.

Frequently asked questions

What file does Texam receive for production?

The required production file depends on the decoration method and your decorator's workflow. Confirm the accepted format and delivery route before approving the job. A vector artwork file or raster production file does not by itself establish that a machine stitch file is included.

Can I create a Texam print proof without receiving an online order?

Yes. For supported products, your team can work in Studio Tool to prepare the design and create a branded proof without waiting for a customer to place a webshop order. Check the selected product's available decoration options before preparing the job.

Does FastEditor also place the order with Texam?

Artwork generation and supplier order submission are separate capabilities. The delivery route depends on your storefront and the connection enabled for your account, so confirm whether your workflow uses file downloads, API retrieval or supplier dispatch before launch.

Are embroidery machine files available for every Texam product?

Embroidery artwork preparation is available; automated stitch-file (DST) generation is in testing with select partners. Confirm availability for your account, product and decorator before expecting a machine-ready stitch file.
