Overview

Helloprint is an online print platform based in Rotterdam in the Netherlands that fulfils orders through a network of print partners rather than a single press, with more than half a million customers to date. Its 14 product groups here cover printed staples such as business cards, flyers, posters and large-format banners.

Printed products fail at the file stage: low resolution, missing bleed or a logo that will not hold at size. When a reseller uploads artwork on a Helloprint product page, FastEditor vectorizes the logo when the selected decoration technique requires vector output, checks it against the product's print specification, previews it in place, and outputs a print-ready file with a branded proof. The customer approves a correct file before it goes to a print partner.

How the integration works

Helloprint's range is connected through the FastEditor Product Hub, so each printed product carries the print specification needed to validate uploaded artwork before it reaches a print partner.

  • Print areas: trim, bleed and safe zones per product, so text and logos stay clear of the cut on cards, flyers, posters and banners.
  • Decoration methods: full-colour digital and large-format print, so resolution and colour are checked for the size and stock ordered.
  • Product data and variants: formats, sizes, stocks and finishes flow through with each product group, so the proof matches the exact print product.

The Helloprint catalogue is available through the Product Hub for resellers across Europe.

Artwork requirements

Printed products need artwork built for the press. To keep a Helloprint order print-ready:

  • Vector artwork. Vector logos where possible; FastEditor vectorizes raster uploads when the selected decoration technique requires vector output, so a mark stays sharp when a poster or banner is scaled up.
  • Resolution. Full resolution at final size, so photographic and raster elements do not soften in large format.
  • Bleed and margins. Artwork extended to the bleed with text inside the safe zone, so nothing is lost at the trim.
  • Colour handling. Colour kept consistent with the product's print process, so the proof reflects what prints.

How to start selling

  1. Start from the connected catalogue. Every Helloprint product in the FastEditor Product Hub already carries its print areas, decoration methods and specifications. Product configuration is already done. To start in Studio Tool, create an account and choose a plan; the Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial. For Logo Editor, activate a FastEditor license and complete the webshop integration setup.
  2. Choose how you sell. Put products on your webshop with the Logo Editor so customers personalise them, or keep them in the Studio Tool for your sales and account teams.
  3. The design happens in FastEditor. A logo drops onto the product inside the real decoration area, is checked against the colour and line-weight rules, and is previewed in place before anyone commits.
  4. Generate the proof and production file. In Studio Tool, use Download to generate the files for the selected product and decoration technique. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The proof and production file follow the selected supplier configuration.

Frequently asked questions

What can I sell through Helloprint on FastEditor?

Helloprint connects 14 product groups through the FastEditor Product Hub, covering printed staples such as business cards, flyers, posters and large-format banners. Each product carries the trim, bleed and print specification FastEditor uses to validate uploaded artwork before it reaches a print partner.

Which Helloprint decoration methods does FastEditor support?

The methods mapped for Helloprint include digital printing, offset printing. Each product carries the methods available for it, with the colour and line-weight limits that method imposes.

Do Helloprint orders produce a print-ready file automatically?

Yes. FastEditor generates a proof and a production file using the selected product and decoration technique’s configured supplier specifications. Raster logos are vectorized automatically when vector output is required; otherwise vectorization may be recommended and is optional. In Studio Tool, generate the files with Download. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The production format depends on the configuration and can be JPG, PNG, PDF or SVG. Embroidery DST output is currently in testing and is not yet available.

How does FastEditor fit with Helloprint's print-partner model?

Helloprint fulfils through a network of print partners, and FastEditor sits at the artwork step in front of that network. A customer uploads a logo, FastEditor validates it against the product's print specification and returns a print-ready file with a branded proof, so the file that reaches a partner has already passed resolution and safe-zone checks.
