Overview

Tee Jays has built premium basics in Denmark since 1976, with a catalogue known for its Luxury Stretch polos and heavyweight Sof Tee shirts cut from combed ringspun cotton, interlock and pique. Its 65 product groups run to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics with organic cotton options, aimed at the quality-conscious end of the branded apparel market.

Connected through the FastEditor Product Hub, the Tee Jays range lets resellers turn a customer's logo into decoration-ready artwork in the browser. FastEditor vectorizes the upload when the selected decoration technique requires vector output, validates it against the garment's print area, colour count and line weight, previews it on the polo or tee, and returns a branded proof, so orders clear artwork approval without a prepress correction loop.

How the integration works

The Tee Jays catalogue is connected to FastEditor through the Product Hub feed, with each garment carrying its own decoration area into the editor.

  • All 65 product groups load with their print positions and colour limits mapped, from left-chest polo embroidery to a full-front tee print.
  • A customer's logo is vectorized automatically when vector output is required for the selected decoration technique and checked against the placement, colour count and minimum line weight before the order is placed. When vector output is not required, vectorization may be recommended to improve quality but is optional.
  • The result is a production-ready file and a branded proof, ready for embroidery or print with no manual prepress.

For resellers across Europe, Tee Jays' premium polos and shirts can be personalised and approved online in a single pass.

Artwork requirements

Tee Jays garments are decorated mainly by embroidery on polos and screen or transfer print on shirts, so artwork is checked against the demands of each method and fabric.

  • Vector artwork. Vector logos are required for clean embroidery, where fine detail and small text must hold as stitches on pique and interlock.
  • Colour count. Colour counts are validated per placement, since screen print works to a fixed set of spot colours.
  • Line thickness. FastEditor provides an indication to help the user assess fine detail against the selected product and decoration technique’s requirements. Thin lines are not automatically corrected. Follow the supplier’s requirement for that configuration rather than a single minimum for every product.
  • Proof preview. Left-chest and full-front positions are previewed in place so the logo sits at the right scale on the finished garment.

How to start selling

  1. Start from the connected catalogue. Every Tee Jays product in the FastEditor Product Hub already carries its print areas, decoration methods and specifications. Product configuration is already done. To start in Studio Tool, create an account and choose a plan; the Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial. For Logo Editor, activate a FastEditor license and complete the webshop integration setup.
  2. Choose how you sell. Put products on your webshop with the Logo Editor so customers personalise them, or keep them in the Studio Tool for your sales and account teams.
  3. The design happens in FastEditor. A logo drops onto the product inside the real decoration area, is checked against the colour and line-weight rules, and is previewed in place before anyone commits.
  4. Generate the proof and production file. In Studio Tool, use Download to generate the files for the selected product and decoration technique. In Logo Editor, the webshop sends a Sale Notification after the customer places the order to trigger file generation. The proof and production file follow the selected supplier configuration.
