Overview

Safsira is a European promotional products supplier offering branded merchandise, corporate gifts and lifestyle products for resellers. Across a mixed promotional range, each product carries its own print area, method and colour rules, and every one has to be prepared correctly before an order goes to production.

Safsira products are live in FastEditor's Product Hub, with print areas and decoration methods attached to each product. A customer uploads a logo on your product page, the editor places it inside the real print area for that product and method, and the file that reaches production is vectorized, validated and ready to print.

How the integration works

The Safsira connection keeps product data, images and decoration specifications in sync, so each product carries everything the editor needs to constrain and validate a design.

Three things travel with every product:

  • Print areas. The position, size and shape of each decorable area, so the editor holds a customer's design to what the product can physically take.
  • Decoration methods. Which techniques are available on that product, each with its own limits on colour count, line weight and resolution.
  • Product data and images. Variants, colours and imagery, so a logo previews on the product the customer is actually ordering.

Artwork requirements

Every Safsira product carries its own artwork rules, and FastEditor validates against them before a production file is generated. The checks that run on each upload:

  • Minimum line thickness. Hairlines that fill in under pad printing or vanish under an engraving laser are caught while the customer is still in the editor.
  • Colour limits. Screen and pad printing carry a maximum number of spot colours per position, so an over-colour logo is stopped before it ships.
  • Resolution and DPI. Raster uploads are measured against the actual output size for the chosen product and method.
  • File formats. Customers upload JPG, PNG, PDF, AI or EPS. Automated vectorization turns the upload into clean paths.
  • Colour schema. Uploads convert to the colour space the method requires, with spot-colour matching where the method supports it.

How to start selling
